Erica Drury is a seasoned state government, legislative, and regulatory affairs professional with over 15 years of experience in healthcare policy. With a deep understanding of healthcare regulatory landscape, Erica excels in building and nurturing lasting relationships with regulators, legislators, and key stakeholders to effectively influence public policy. She is highly skilled in identifying creative solutions to overcome regulatory barriers and advocating for meaningful change in healthcare policy.

Erica most recently served as MGA Homecare’s Vice President of Government Affairs and Payer Relations, where she led MGA’s policy strategy and represented the company before legislative and regulatory bodies across six states. In this capacity, she developed policy positions on state and federal legislation and regulations that affect patient access to home and community-based services, ensuring the protection of nurses' clinical and professional practices. Erica also managed relationships with legislators, governors, members of Congress, and other influential stakeholders, advocating for key initiatives in pediatric home health care. Erica secured millions of dollars in grant funding and recouped millions in unpaid claims from the state for the company. Erica was also previously the Director of Government Affairs at Maxim Healthcare Services, where she spearheaded critical regulatory reforms and lobbied for improvements to the pediatric private duty nursing (PDN) regulatory environment across the nine western states. Erica’s career also includes valuable experience at the California State Capitol, where she worked with the Department of Public Health as Assistant Deputy Director of Policy and Legislation and with the Department of Consumer Affairs as an Associate Legislative and Policy Analyst, specializing in health care facility, professional, and paraprofessional licensure.

Erica holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Sacramento, and has continued to contribute to the field through her active involvement in her community. With a reputation for being persistent, pragmatic, and strategic in both business and civic engagements, Erica is committed to advancing healthcare policies that improve access to quality care while supporting thoughtful growth of the healthcare industry.
